This sample of metatorbernite is displayed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Metatorbernite is a phosphate mineral of uranium and copper with the composition Cu(UO2)2(PO4)2.8H2O. The sample at left is about 15 cm across and is from the Musonoi mine, D. R. Congo.
